Mid-Hinged Fold Over Lattice (RWIS) Towers

Our Mid-Hinge Fold over Lattice Tower is by far, the most robust hinged lattice tower available. This Fold Over Tower Kit comes fully welded and assembled for rapid deployment.

Maintenance, adjustments, and replacement of the items mounted on the tower can be performed comfortably and safely at ground level within minutes.

Tower width is 12 inches and the height is 30 feet with a slide out top pipe that reaches 35 feet. The top 20 feet is built from 6061 aluminum and the bottom 10 feet is built from 50 ksi minimum yield galvanized steel.

Each tower comes with painted hand winch with 3/16 inch x 20 foot long stainless steel cable, three aluminum anti-climb panels installed on the base 10 foot section, and Anchor Base Bolt Cluster (ABBC).

Stainless Steel Hand Winch available as add-on option for applications in corrosive environments.

Our Mid-Hinged Fold Over Pole comes fully welded and assembled for rapid deployment.

Maintenance, adjustments, and replacement of the items mounted on the pole can be performed comfortably and safely at ground level within minutes.

Mid-Hinged Poles come in standard widths of 4 inch, 6 inch, and 8 inch. They come in standard heights of 20 feet, 30 feet, and 40 feet. Custom widths and heights are available upon request.

Mid-Hinged Fold Over Poles are built from 50 ksi minimum yield steel. All poles are hot dipped galvanized to provide long lasting corrosion protection from the elements.

Each Mid-Hinge Pole comes complete with a painted hand winch and 1/4 inch stainless steel cable for raising and lowering the pole.

Some optional items for the pole are Tower Top Pipes, Stainless Steel Winch upgrade for corrosive environments, Anchor Base Bolt Cluster (ABBC), and Cable Access Portholes.

Ballast Tray Foundations

Ballast Tray Foundations

Our Ballast Tray Foundation bases are all welded for the rapid deployment & installation of our support structures in just minutes. No assembly of the Ballast Tray Foundation base is required! No foundation hole needs to be dug, just set the Ballast Tray Foundation and fill with the required weight of ballast (either rock, sand, or concrete).

All Ballast Tray Foundations are built of 50 ksi minimum yield steel, and are hot dipped galvanized to provide long lasting corrosion protection from the elements.

Ballast Tray Foundations come in two sizes 8.5 foot square and 10.5 foot square. All Ballast Tray Foundations are 16 inches tall.

Ballast Tray Foundations can support our Self-Supporting Towers, Freestanding Towers, Mid-Hinged Fold Over Poles, Base-Hinged Fold Over Poles, and Mid-Hinged Fold Over Lattice Towers.

Interface Plate for mounting structure to Ballast Tray Foundation is sold separately.

Self-Supporting Towers

Our Self-Supporting Towers feature fully welded sections, and are shipped ready to stack. No assembly of tower sections required.

All Self-Supporting Towers include tower sections and fasteners. Self-Supporting Towers can be mounted to Direct Embedment Sections (DES) or our Ballast Trays. Direct Embedment Sections and Ballast Trays (DES) are each sold separately.

Self-Supporting Towers are built out of tapering tower sections. For example, our 100 foot Self-Supporting tower is 42 inches wide at the base and tapers to 18 inches wide at the top.

Legs, diagonal members, and horizontal members are all constructed out of solid round steel with 50 ksi minimum yield strength. Tower Sections are joined with square bolted flange plates. All towers include integrated climbing ladder on one face. All tower sections are hot dipped galvanized to provide long lasting corrosion protection from the elements.

Our towers come in face widths varying from 18 inches wide to 54 inches wide. Towers are custom designed in heights and widths to meet your individual specifications.

Freestanding Towers

Our Freestanding Towers feature fully welded sections, and are shipped ready to stack. No assembly of tower sections required.

All Freestanding Towers include tower sections and fasteners. Freestanding Towers can be mounted to Direct Embedment Sections (DES) or our Ballast Trays. Direct Embedment Sections and Ballast Trays (DES) are each sold separately.

Freestanding Towers can be built out of 5 foot, 10 foot, or 20 foot long sections.

This kit includes our Self-Supporting Tower, Ballast Tray Foundation, Interface Plate, and Safety Climb Fall Arrest System in one convenient to order kit.

8.5' square Ballast Tray Foundation can support up to 50' Self-Supporting Tower.

10.5' square Ballast Tray Foundation can support up to 70' Self-Supporting Tower.

Safety Climb Fall Arrest Systems

Safety Climb Fall Arrest Systems

All Safety Climb Systems include Upper Cable Support Bracket, Plastic Cap, Cable Cushion, Cable Strand Vise, Cable Stand-offs, Lower Cable Support Bracket, Tension Rod, and 3/8" Extra High Strength (EHS) Galvanized Cable Strand cut to match tower height.

When purchased with a new tower, top and bottom brackets are built into top and bottom sections of the tower.

We recommend a Safety Climb System be installed on every tower to provide an easy and safe means to climb the tower.

Our Folding Wall Mounted Hinge Poles come fully assembled to allow rapid installation.

Folding Wall Mounted Hinge Poles are built from 50 ksi minimum yield steel. All poles are hot dipped galvanized to provide long lasting corrosion protection from the elements.

Folding Wall Mounted Hinge Poles are designed to be installed and operated inside a security wall. Once the pole is folded down the instruments can be safely adjusted inside the compound.

Each Folding Wall Mounted Hinge Pole comes with a painted hand winch and 3/16" x 16' stainless steel cable. Wall anchoring hardware is not included.

Direct Embedment Sections (DES)

Our Direct Embedment Section (DES) is a simple one piece component which has cost savings benefits when compared to installing anchor bolts. Our Direct Embedment Section (DES) is by far the easiest way to install a foundation for our Self-Supporting Towers compared to installing 12 individual anchor base bolts.

The Direct Embedment Section (DES) is constructed from the same material as our towers to ensure that it is strong enough to support the tower. It is hot dipped galvanized to provide long lasting corrosion protection from the elements.

Place the Direct Embedment Section (DES) into the excavated hole along with the rebar & fill the excavation with concrete while following our suggest Self-Supporting Tower Foundation drawing is quick & simple.

Top Pipes for Towers or Poles

Our Top Pipes are made out of high strength steel to ensure they are strong enough to support any antenna mounted to them. Pipes are hot dipped galvanized to provide long lasting corrosion protection from the elements.

Our Stock sizes are 3/4 inch pipe (1 inch Outside Diameter), 2 inch pipe (2.375 inch Outside Diameter), 2-1/2 inch pipe (2.875 inch Outside Diameter), and 3-1/2 inch pipe (4 inch Outside Diameter). Standard stock size for the length of the pipe is 4 feet. We can make any diameter or length of pipe to meet your individual needs upon request.

All Top Pipes come with a flange and lightning rod tab welded on.

Anti-Climb Panels

These Anti-Climb panels ensure that unauthorized personnel cannot climb your tower. Each Anti-Climb panel is designed for installation on your particular tower section which comes complete with three aluminum panels riveted onto the tower section at our facility.

All of our towers can have Anti-Climb Panels installed as an option.

Our Anti-Climb Hinge Door is an angle iron frame galvanized with an aluminum sheet on hinges.

The door can be locked to allow only authorized personnel to climb the Tower. Door includes cut outs for Safety Climb Fall Arrest System.

Our Antenna Standoff Bracket Mounts are fully welded with no assembly required which facilitates fast installations. Hardware for mounting the bracket to the tower is included. Antenna Standoff Bracket Mounts are hot dipped galvanized to provide long lasting corrosion protection from the elements.

Stock sizes are 2 feet, 3 feet, and 4 feet with a 2 inch (2.375 inch outside diameter) x 2.5 foot long pipe. We can build Antenna Standoff Bracket Mounts to meet customer specifications.

Tower Base Ground Rod Kits

Ensure that your tower is grounded to a minimum of national standards or Motorola grounding standards with our Tower Base Ground Rod Kits. Our Base Grounding Kits meet ANSI/TIA-222 REV H Standards.

Each Kit includes 1 copper clad steel ground rod, 10 feet of #2 gauged tinned solid copper wire, 1 type-G round rod clamp, and one mechanical wire connection lug for structure end.

These lightning rods with their pointed tips may be the lightning strikes preferred path to ground down and through the tower instead of the lightning striking valuable equipment clamped on a structure.

Stock sizes are 1/2 inch x 12 inches aluminum, 5/8 inch x 4 feet copper clad steel, and 3/4 inch x 4 feet copper clad steel.

Basic Anchor design used in variety of different site conditions. Installation is simple. Install the base of an anchor shaft in a suitable buried concrete foundation to support the combined tensions of multiple stranded guy wires which in turn supports a guy wire type tower.

All Guy Anchor Shafts are built from 50 ksi minimum yield strength steel and are hot dipped galvanized to provide long lasting corrosion protection from the elements.

Our Caisson Guy Anchors are fully welded and hot dipped galvanized to provide long lasting corrosion protection from the elements. An Anchor Base Bolt Cluster is included with each Caisson Guy Anchor.

The some benefits of a Caisson anchor are as follows:

1. Since all of the steel is covered in concrete no Cathodic Protection System is required.

2. Faster install speed since no back filling is needed when compared to traditional guy anchor rod shafts.

3. No need to dig up anchors and inspect for corrosion due to everything being in a solid block of concrete.
